Evie-K is a 1969 40’ Chesapeake Bay built. She has been completely restored, covered in West system epoxy and a fresh coat Awl-grip paint make her sparkle. The Mahogany trim has been stripped and refinished to the a gloss of a Yacht.

There is plenty of room for fishing, sight seeing, eating, or just relaxing. Down below there is a dinette that can seat 4, a ’V’ berth, a galley sink and stand up head with hot and cold water.

Evie-K is equipped with Radar, GPS, 2 depth finders, VHF radio, CB radio, to ensure a safe and pleasurable day on the bay. A 250 Cummins engine pushes her through the water reliably.

Captain Doug Blakeslee moved to Maryland in 1983 and went fishing on the Chesapeake and fell in love with it.

It just so happened that his wife’s father was a Charter Captain and Doug got tutored by one of the best. After Captain Nick passed away in 2001 Captain Doug and his wife Cindy bought the Evie-K to carry on the family business.

Doug is now training his children Amanda and Andrew. The Blakeslee family will do our best to make your day enjoyable.

Evie-K is kept on Mill Creek, Annapolis Maryland; close to many great fishing spots.

Hacketts Point is located just outside the Creek, this is a very good spot for White perch, Hardhead (Croaker ),Norfolk Spot and Rockfish. A short run North is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge home to many species of fish such as Bluefish, Sea Trout, Rockfish, and many others.

When we run to the south we will pass Tollies a premier bottom fishing spot. Even more to the south is a un-marked spot we locals call the Hill. This is a great spot for chumming and we have great success.

All charters are for a maximum of 6 people.
Fishing trips all license, bait, and fishing rods are supplied.

A $100.00 deposit is required to secure all charters.
